WHERE TO JUMP IN FLORIDA THIS WINTER

Hello Everyone,

Can anybody recomend a few places to Skydive in Florida this winter? (other than the 2-3 obvious places)

Is there anywhewre to jump in the Florida Keys?

A few of us are looking to jump sometime in Feb or March, for a about 7-10 days.

There's not really a place in the Keys for fun jumpers. What are you looking for? Where in Florida? (It's like 5 hours+ long and 3+ wide.)

I think Sebastian runs a Keys Boogie, but it's in November or so. Check with them.

Feb is a pretty happening time in FL. If you rent a car, in 7-10 days you can check out 3-4 places, most FL DZs are withing 1-2 hours of each other with teh wind tunnel in between. ZHills is my favorite for vibes/fun and variety, Sebastian's view kicks ass and the Bytch is there, Lake Wales is great too, and post-Charley is actively rebuilding I believe.

Emerald Coast Skydiving is 20 miles west of Pensacola, FL. on the gulf coast. White sand beach jumps to the Flora-Bama and a lot of really nice, laid back folks.

If I had 7-10 days and was tripping to Florida, I'd go March/April and hit the area around Orlando. You have several dropzones all right in that area, the wind tunnel, and you could also hit Disney for a day.

i went down to zhills for 10 days in march this year. it was during their irish invasion boogie. i had a hell of a time. i went by myself and left with a lot of new friends. ill probably be going down again this year.
