cost for deland bunkhouse?????

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to know if anyone knew the price for staying in the skydive deland bunk house. does the price change for week days/weekends. hopefully going to be there in early to mid Nov. I'm gunna try and call them over the weekend but thought I would ask anyway.

P.S. did search will no luck

The bunkhouse at the dz is pretty small but very affordable. There are also skydivers in the area who own real houses that they have converted into bunkhouses. I'm not sure you could get your own room since the "season" is going to be starting up, but staying in a house would be better in my opinion. The houses are a few miles from the dz though, so you'd have to have your own transportation. I think manifest has a list of the bunkhouses and who to call if you want to go that route.

Yep, the "bunkhouse" at Deland is a small, portable metal structure that you would park a lawnmower in. I thought it had to be a joke. Good thing I have so many friends in town....Anyway, Rob Herrick has two houses less than a mile from the DZ. One is converted into a super "team house" thing that sleeps like 16 people. It's awesome. I have his number, so PM me if that sounds interesting; it's a cool place.
