DZ's along east coast of FL near Boca Raton?

Any? Will be in Boca this weekend and thought it would be nice to make a jump on the coast. The only ones I can think of are Sebastian and Miami, neither particularly close to Boca.

EDIT: Ok, I realize Miami isn't *that* far. I'm just lazy and wondered if there was anything closer. :)

Unfortunately no. There's too much air traffic to run a DZ in the Boca/Fort Lauderdale area.

From Boca it would be about an equal length trip to Sebastian or Homestead, about an hour and a half.

ya the only ones that i know of is sebastian and maimi. i am heading up to sebastian on sunday. Tag along if you need a ride. plenty of room in the car.

miami isn't on the water. Nice view of the everglades, but it sits inland abit from the coast.

I used to live in Ft. Lauderdale. So I guess that Sebastian is closer to Boca.

I live in deerfield beach , Sebastion is about an hour twenty five minutes from boca, just watch out for FHP.

i live west of boca & west of the turnpike. taking the tp north to Ft. Pierce, then hop over to I-95 for the last 20? miles. the fl tpk is great coz usually traffic moves just under 80, sometimes more.

1 hr, 25 mins no problem

No, it's not. Right now SE Florida just has Clewiston, Homestead, Sebastian and I guess Labelle.
