BIG NEWS!! I just got some really cool Trophies that will be also awarded to top 3 finishers. For those who want to learn, I will do a couple of short poker classes through out the day. One for first timers who want to learn how to play and the basics of the game and then later an Intermediate class covering theory and basic strategy. Tournament will be limited to the first 28 People to hand me their entry fees. I will start taking sign ups early. We can hopefully get the tournament started at 8:00pm to give everyone time to eat after the sunset load. If there is enough interest, we will also do a Calcutta at 7:30pm. A Calcutta is a great way for people who are not playing to also get involved in the game. The way it works is we randomly group players in teams of 3 or4 and auction them off. If someone from a team you buy wins the tournament, you get all the money from all the bids. This is open to everyone to bid on their favorite player. Ohh, And I will have TONS of Jello shots for everyone too.
