mar_tin 0 #1 October 22, 2004 I'm looking for advice on the best exit to take to get to 14K from along this route... sunday and/or monday if it makes any difference, and preferable closer to LA than NV. Any input greatly appreciated. And if it's not too indirect, I'll get to take my current boss on his first tandem (and frankly he deserves it). thanks again, martin

skybytch 273 #6 October 24, 2004 Quoteas for Perris or Elsinore, which is actually the shortest detour off the 15? I gotta make it to LAX sometime on monday.... You'll want to get off the 15 and onto either the 10 or the 60 around San Bernadino/Riverside. Either dz is about an hour south of where you'll be heading west to get to LAX; Elsinore is off the 15, Perris is off the 215. Hit both if you can, they're about an hour's drive apart. If not just flip a coin. They're both great places to jump.
