bendywendy 0 #1 October 25, 2004 She'll be back a little earlier this year! After partying it up in Atlanta for Halloween, the beautiful red & white checkered AirExpress skyvan will be migrating further south for the winter. Come out to Sebastian for the first weekend in November and jump the tailgate before she disappears to the Keys from November 11 - 14 for the Keys Boogie on Marathon Key. bendywendy 0 #2 November 3, 2004 OK, I love posting then having to backtrack! I love passing on incorrect information. The Skyvan will be returning to Sebastian BUT not when I was originally told. It was in Atlanta and now it is somewhere else helping out another dz that is short a plane and will be back in Sebastian next week - well sort of - we will be taking it to the Keys for Thursday, November 11. So you can come out and jump it on Monday if you want, then we are closed on Tuesday and then it will leave for the Keys. Sorry, sorry, sorry, you know how plans & planes change in skydiving! philly51 0 #4 November 3, 2004 Bendywendy... please take good care of her. I jump at Cross Keys, and she will be missed as usual, this winter. Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, Shouting "...holy shit...what a ride!" sunnydee123 0 #6 November 3, 2004 hee heee heeeee...I jumped it in Atlanta this weekend and Johnno even gave us some extra altitude (for some unknown reason ;o)) I also did my first HANG job and didn't even get suckered into buying beer. Not as hard as I thought - now if the rest of the jump would have just amounted to something. I can't wait to see "my boys" in Sebastian this weekend to get the dealio on the Keys boogie....see you all soon. Yo Wendy - anyone seen Eric lately? Dreams become reality, one choice at a time... dubbayab 0 #7 November 5, 2004 Johnno Gordan is an awsome pilot, and a good man, he will be missed by all of us here in New Orleans, I hope he quits Eddows soon and come to work fo us full time. He will be bringing the skyvan to us in Feburary for a boogie. Hope to see ya soon Johnoo, remember up the butt, no babies! WB
bendywendy 0 #8 November 8, 2004 We always take good care of her. She's flown south to us every winter and though we hate to see her go it's a nice little arrangement. You need to come down and visit her! I love CrossKeys it's my second home but the view down here is so much better! I can look at the orange roof of home depot while skydiving at Xkeys or I can look at the treasure coast here. Come check out Sebastian inlet from the air or bring your surfboard and check it out from the ground as well!
philly51 0 #9 November 8, 2004 Might just do that this winter. Should be in Florida in March, '05. Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, Shouting "...holy shit...what a ride!"
