JohnnyZ 0 #1 November 27, 2004 Me and a few friends are looking for a good place to go for a quick 5 day vacation towards the end of January or the beginning of February. Florida, southern California, Eloy... Where is it the most happening this time of year? Anybody aware of any boogies this time of year? Isn't there a Key West boogie some time in the winter? We are all free fliers and just looking for altitude, turbine aircraft, reasonably prices hotels nearby, warm weather and other places to go at night. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Stacy 0 #2 November 27, 2004 The Keys boogie was in NOvember. You'll be a little late (or a little early) for that. Late Jan-Feb, anywhere in FL is hopping. that's our season! Come check out ZHills, yo can take a day trip to lake wales, sebastian, etc or the tunnel. ZHills has great facilities, awesome vibe, nearby places to stay or camping, 3 otters, and if you want nightlife (the dz has plenty) tampa and ybor city are within 30 mins max. skykittykat 0 #4 November 28, 2004 The Exotic SkyAdventures Boogies are awesome. Their next one in Uruguay is from Feb 18-Mar 05. If that is not an option - Eloy!!! Not only does Eloy have awesome facilities - planes, hangar, landing areas, bunkhouse/team rooms, bar/restaurant, etc, it has the weather, fantastic load organisers/people and of course, the tunnel is due to open fully on 1 Feb. I've been to Deland before, but none of my travel buddies have... I know they'll like it. South America would be cool, but we're all on a budget. However, you can still see some fantastic views over Sebastian. Anyways, when you are in Florida - it is mandatory to hit a few dropzones and Stacy gave you the lowdown.
