sneaky 0 #4 January 13, 2005 For starters Piers u didnt come !!!! That was my only gripe... Boogie was good !! The freefly school Euphoria did some incredible skydives with Nimmo,Andy and Mike C.Some very nice footage going on the bar at nite and everyone learnt alot.Small groups of FF but I thought was the best way to MAX out the jump... Big ways were pretty fun ,seems the belly flyers had a blast.. Andy G and members of the suiss 4 way team organizing. Weather was OK but not as forcasted !! we had a few wind holds, but apart from being cold the sun was out and the afternoons soon warmed up... this was typical weather all over spain,we were a little more lucky with the winds. Jans Beech is an incredible aircraft !!! Fast and mean....
Westie 0 #5 January 13, 2005 Being relatively new to the sport I don't really have many Christmas boogie comparisons. But this is my ten pence worth anyway. I thought jumping from the Beech was awesome, It so fast and has a great door for launching a large base! The Organizing from Andy Guler was good and I learned a lot from him, He really made everyone seem special and was always ready to answer any of the groups questions. Didn't really have much to do with the freefly organizing but those guys looked busy, especially the guy from babylon. Was not to happy with some of the ads for the boogie promising canopy demos, another two planes and free beer! What happened to that lot? The big disappointment for me was the new years eve party that was supposedly meant to happen! At around Nine oclock everyone was told ( quite rudely) to exit the DZ bar? whats with that??? Things turned out all right in the end when some of the organizers managed to get the group of 30/40 skydivers into a local bar and provided some champagne for us! I think after that incident there was a bit of a bad atmosphere going around. All in all I did enjoy the boogie, but would have left a little cheated if it wasn't for the efforts of some of the DZ staff. 13's unlucky for some, but not for old Fred!
