GeordieSkydiver 0 #1 January 15, 2005 Hi, I'm planning a rip to Deland late March, early April and I would like some personal opinions on the DZ and facilities. I'm especially interested in: 1. Canopy coaching (I understand one of the best is available) 2. Freefly coaching 3.Maybe paying the tunnel in Orlando a visit, how far is it? Thanks in advance....Lee _______________________________ In a world full of people, only some want to fly, is that not crazy? http://www.ukskydiver.co.uk
freeflir29 0 #2 January 15, 2005 You'll have to check with the DZ directly to see if the people you want are available in your time slot.......BUT Coaching of ANY type.......it's Deland.......it's there. Canopy......not sure who does it but Scott Miller and a ton of Factory PD swoopers are there. Free Fly.......take my word on this. Ask for Jimmy T. Really nice guy and hands down one of THE MOST impressive free flyers I have EVER flown with. Not trying to sound important or anything but I have jumped with some bad ass free flyers and have NEVER seen anyone that even came close to Jimmy's flying skills. The tunnel is about a 45 minute drive. I would call to check availability. They can get a little booked up sometimes.
CSpenceFLY 1 #3 January 15, 2005 If your coming to the S.E. US in March you should come to the St. Patricks Boogie in Dublin,Ga.March 17-20.
freeflir29 0 #4 January 15, 2005 Almost forgot.........if you are planning on coming this way during March......you may want to plan some time for the Dublin Boogie. It'll be a great time and I have already heard of some people going to Deland afterward. March 17-20. Check out the thread in this forum. Dammitt Chris!!!!!!!!
