b1jercat 0 #1 May 20, 2003 Greetings, Just started jumping a new 190 saber 2 and after a few jumps It seems like its flying a tad faster. Is this possible ? or is it the summer weather conditions of the last couple days? Anyone got an opion on this subject?

It's likely the density altitude (summer weather) and who knows maybe the winds were lower than the day you did your first jump. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
rigging65 0 #3 May 20, 2003 It may just be that you're getting more in tune to what the canopy is doing, so you're noticing more of what's going on. I guess that could make you feel like you're flying faster or slower, just depends on you. It could also be relative air density, humidity, whatever. It's definitely possible, but probably not due to the canopy 'breaking in' or anything. Could be different weather, different winds, a change in how you fly it etc. 90% of the time, canopy wear makes a canopy go slower and glide steeper - brake lines start to shrink etc.
