GravityGirl 0 #1 February 11, 2005 On March 12, 2005 (Safety Day), Gravity Gear will host a "Flying the Reserve" weekend at Bay Area Skydiving in Byron California. Highlights will include discussions about various emergency senarios and reserve demo canopies for you to fly. The discussions will be in a "bon fire" type atmosphere, where everyone is encouraged to share their "No Shit" stories. We will bring up various problems and malfunctions that can occur. The idea is for each person to walk away with a decision plan for each scenario. And for those who already have their decision plans, the talks will serve to reinforce them. Before you actually fly a reserve demo, you will be given a check list of things to consider and try. This will help you make the best of your demo flight.
