gemini 0 #1 February 18, 2005 Hello everyone, This is an invitation for a 4-way scrambles event Saturday February 26th at Skydive Spaceland. It is beautiful outside and time to get out and jump again! Last year we had 10 teams and beautiful weather, so we are looking to repeat the weather and have more teams this year and the dropzone is offering $16 jumps for the event. The plan is to: --Be ready to jump at 8:30AM Saturday --Make six 4-way jumps from 13K with 50 seconds of working time using the intermediate dive pool --Jumps will be judged --Cost is $135 to cover jumps, video, judging + $10 for the cash prize pool that gets divided straight back to the winners --Winning team members split a cash prize pool (it will be a 70-20-10% split for the top 3 teams) -- Alti-2 has already donated a 30% off a Neptune for one lucky person and there will hopefully be more to come from other vendors --Afterwards everyone can get together for some 8,10,20-ways --You will need to put $120 on your account before 8:30AM Saturday and bring $25 cash ($10 for prize pool and $15 video fee) --bring a VHS tape for a copy of your jumps You must reserve your slot by contacting Angela Hale at 713-213-0349 (angeladhale@yahoo.com) by Thursday Feb 24th at noon to participate.
