DrewGPM 0 #2 March 26, 2005 If I was going somewhere for a month I'd choose one of these two: Perris Valley, California - great weather, tunnel, great swoop park. There is also some neat stuff to see in San Diego. Zephyrhills is a one of several great DZs in the Orlando, Florida area. Lots of cool non-jumping things to do while you're there. FFAdventures 0 #3 March 26, 2005 Hi there: Skydive Cross Key/Freefall Adventures in New Jersey has a full fleet of Aircraft to train from, and great facilities. The Super Otter will be back mid-April. This Otter has comfy benches, and a lightening fast turn time. We also have a full-time Caravan and the Skyvan returns mid-April. We can offer you team rates, and a bunk house with a tv a vcr for debriefing. Skydive Cross Keys has been the US training DZ for British 4-Way Champs XL, Bev's Cross Keys 8, 4-way teams Cross Keys Vision, Cross Keys O2 Project, Cross Keys Air Pollution, and many more, and hosts the America's Cup playoffs annually. At times teams Arizona Airspeed, the PD Factory Team, the British Military 4-way team, the Golden Knights and plenty of others train here as well. It is in an urban center, with plenty of restaurants, movie theaters, and motels, and Philadelphia is only 20 minutes away. There is lots to do daytime and nighttime! You can contact us for details at skydive@freefalladventures.com. I hope to hear from you! LizWhere the world comes to skydive!
bendywendy 0 #4 March 27, 2005 April is still that inbetween kind of time. Starting to get hot and slow in the south but often still chilly up north. If you are going to go northeast - I'd agree with Liz - CrossKeys is the place to go. If you want to come southeast - come see us in Sebastian. The beauty of coming to Florida is that you actually have a ton of great dropzones all within driving distance - it's possible to hit a couple or three or four in one day if you really want to. You can start your morning on the east coast, jump your way across the state for sunset on the west coast if you wanted to. Smack in the middle of all of them is the wind tunnel in Orlando. Can't go wrong! West Coast I'd vote for Elsinore (though I haven't been there since they had a fire awhile back but I'm sure they are recovered from that) and they are still close enough to go play in Perris' tunnel!
