gus 1 #2 May 4, 2005 Lovely little Loopy Lisa sent this newsletter yesterday: Quote Hi guys and gals! Just a short newsletter this time, as we're in the middle of the Langar Boogie. Suffice to say, if you're reading this newsletter you're in the wrong place!! Why aren't you at Langar enjoying the Skyvan!? So far this Bank Holiday weekend we have done just under 100 lifts, and over 1500 descents made; which is not bad considering that we were weather dodging a little each day! We also held the first Freefly Grand Prix over the first weekend. Two teams entered, Euphoria and Avalore. Unfortunately both teams could only be here on Saturday, and so after two rounds the competition ended, with one going home with Gold, and the other with Silver! For the remainder of the Boogie, we have Chris Lynch's Wing Tips seminars taking place on Wednesday 4th May for Beginners, and Thursday 5th May for Swooping. Come on down, book yourself on the course (£25), and learn some funky piloting skills. The last weekend of the Boogie, the 7th and 8th May, Milko is hodling his Invitational Big Way sequential skydives, so come down and watch the pretty patterns in the sky, then dance the night away with one of the three - yes three! bands appearing in Langar Bar! And if that wasn't enough we're holding our £100 Crazy Weekend again on the 14th and 15th of May alongside the FS 8 Way Grand Prix, followed by the Crew 16 way Grand Prix on the 28th and 29th of May. Don't forget we are now putting the aircraft up with just 5 paying customers on board, so come on down!! See you all soon!
