Jumping in Providence, RI area

Does anyone know of a good place to jump in the Providence, RI area? Newport seems to be a tandem dz only and all the others I have found are in the upper mass. area.

I lived in Providence and then North Attleboro until recently.

Your only options (Boston Providence is a tandem factory still I believe) are Jumptown MA (my fav), CPI in CT, Pepperal MA or Skydive New England ME

There's nothing in Providence anymore - Boston Providence packed up and shipped out

Jumptown is about 1.5 hours away and IMO the best option.

I live in Providence and a bunch of us travel up to JTown pretty much every weekend, I'm sure we can find you a ride if you're looking for one.

I will be in the Attleboro area the 2nd week of June and was seeing if there was something close by. Does Jumptown run during the week?

Hey there,

JTown is open Thur - Sun. I think I heard someone mention to me that Pepperell was open during the week. The only problem with getting to Pepperell is that the traffic sux getting from Attleboro up that way during the week - a friend mentioned that one day she was up there they didn't get their first load up until 2:30, so if you decide to do Pepperell call ahead first. I made the mistake of driving up there after work one night during the week and due to traffic what should have been a 90 minute trip turned into 3 hours!

I sometimes really dislike Boston traffic

Jumptown is in the complete opposite direction and even the biggest traffic hold up (Worcester) isn't bad during rush hour.
