Vorex 0 #1 July 26, 2005 Hey all, I want to give skydiving a spin, I'm trying to find the closest DZ to PB, I'm thinking Air Adventures of Clewiston is the closest, but I ain't sure, anyone know of one closer? I read somewhere there was one @ West Belglade Airport, but I don't see it listed on this site. Would it be worth while to drive north rather then way out west to Air Adventures of Clewiston if that Belglade one is closed down?- Mike
Superman32 0 #2 July 26, 2005 Look at the list on the Dropzones tab (look up). If it's not listed there, the DZ you are talking about may be part of Skyride which lists several nonexistant DZs Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
Vorex 0 #3 July 26, 2005 Lostinspace pm'd me about howto search the dz area, I had checked that out but was clicking through north america->florida and looking at the list, not using the search function to find the nearest, sorry!- Mike
MikeForsythe 0 #4 July 26, 2005 Michael, I live in Jupiter. I would suggest Skydive Sebastian. It is 1.5 hours from you. They have very experienced AFF staff and a view to die for. Ask for Wendy.Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is!
skymama 37 #5 July 26, 2005 Clewiston may be a little closer, but Sebastian will give you a beautiful view of the coastline. I recommend Sebastian too!She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Stacy 0 #6 July 26, 2005 For a first time jumpI'd definitely recommend Sebastian to you. The view is unparalleled and Wendy is wonderful there.
bendywendy 0 #7 July 26, 2005 Thanks everyone - I'm really slacking on my dz.com time these days! Yes, come see us - we just did a shuttle load this morning!!! Unfortunately our timing was just a tiny, tiny bit off this time (it's been a few years and we are rusty). All we got was the plume in the background instead of the shuttle itself. Well, if this one comes back in one piece we can try again in September...
