kelel01 1 #3 November 8, 2005 Do a search in the Bonfire and General Skydiving. There are several threads with complaints/suggestions for improvement. I just can't remember what my reasons are at the moment.

popsjumper 2 #5 November 8, 2005 What new changes? Vendor Fee? Outrageous Tent fee? Outrageous $69 registration? Outrageous. Complaints and suggestions have already been posted in other threads. This is one of them: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=1713770;page=1;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;mh=25;My reality and yours are quite different. Snowwhite 0 #6 November 8, 2005 Cool! Sounds like you guys are really gonna like our next set of announcements! What did you pay to come to the WFFC in 1999?skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
brenthutch 444 #7 November 8, 2005 I go to the WFFC to jump with friends, and meet new ones. The problem is that a lot of those people don't show because there is no jet, no bell jet ranger, no mig flybys, no golden knights, no team extream, no vendors, no carnival....you get the idea. I have only missed one year in the last 10 and have witnessed a slow, steady decline, and each year is smaller than the previous. It is very sad. If you can get it rockin' again like it was 5 years ago I would be there in a heart beat. Take a look at the '98 video to see what I mean.

LouDiamond 1 #9 November 8, 2005 As it has already been stated in the Bonfire thread, the powers that be at WFFC need to RE-think the new proposed dates for WFFC 06. There are a lot of other skydiving related events going on during that time that will not only affect individuals but possibly some aircraft 's availability to attend. Overall, not only do vendor fees need to be brought down drastically but so do the individual fees to include the addition of a "1 day" fee for those who cannot stay for the entire event. BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT (BLUF) If you make this event financially appealing to everyone involved from aircraft, vendors and skydivers, more people will attend.Until then, expect attendence to continue to drop"It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
mirage62 0 #10 November 8, 2005 How about an honest to god big way event. One that has the talent to go plus one hundred in size, does one jump a day (sunset of course) Say the last three full days of the event. Rodger P. is already there (or use to be)Kevin Keenan is my hero, a double FUP, he does so much with so little
flyangel2 2 #11 November 8, 2005 Would this be a walk up dive or by invite only? Yes, Roger is still there.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
packing_jarrett 0 #12 November 9, 2005 those people at the registration tent were screwed up. I went over there to register, and they said I had to be 16. I showed them the requirements that there was no age limit. I showed them my logbood and my stamped yellow card (that is your temp. licence) even though a licence wasn't required, still wouldn't let me jump. And Zach Mullins 14yr old same as me was making 20 jumps a day!!!! Registered. If they will let me jump I'm going.Na' Cho' Cheese
