kelpdiver 2 #2 November 11, 2005 the reviews here under Dropzones suggest that you may wait a long time to grab a slot. Great view then, but seems like too much work to lug the rig around. Mind you, PdC is 45 miles south of Cancun. Bus service is cheap, and it's a gateway to Cozumel, but it's a bit of a jaunt.

JGarcia 0 #4 November 14, 2005 I showed up a couple years ago on a Sunday, with rig in tow... ...they were closed. Hope you have better luck than I did.--JairoLow Profile, snag free helmet mount for your Sony X3000 action cam!
kelpdiver 2 #5 November 14, 2005 btw, will Cancun be open for business by then? I read that the hurricane took 85% of their hotel rooms out of action, though not stated if they were temporalily bad, or totalled.
pre7117 0 #6 November 15, 2005 I have been watching cancuncare.com and they say that most of the hotels are ok and will be up by mid Nov. The rest of the damage is mainly along the strip. You can go to the sight and see the photos, they cleaned it up real good but still need some time.HELLFISH 429 POPS 11113
