kelel01 1 #2 November 13, 2005 Don't know where you jump now or how they do coach jumps, but if you plan on doing them there, bring $$$. They were $80 when I went two winters ago. You could also call them to find out. It's a really fun place, though, and pretty warm in the winter. They have a restaurant and an after-hours beer bar on site. All you need is a tent and a sleeping bag, and you're set! Great planes, too! Have fun, but check on those coach jumps. The cost of those caught me WAY off guard. Where's the restaurant, I must have missed it when I was there in January. Rental is included with coached jumps, however per jump I believe it is like 40 or something like that. Sunshine factory has demo rigs you can rent for like 50 a day though.Divot your source for all things Hillbilly. Anvil Brother 84 SCR 14192
Zoter 0 #8 November 14, 2005 I just got back from two weeks in ZHills and had a really good time. We had weather for 1 day in 14 that limited us a few 7K hop and Pops....other than that they were jumping all day everyday :) I just cant say how impressed I was with everyone there.....all the Staff were super friendly and really wanted to make things happen for you. I was lucky enough to get my FF2 ( Headown rating) and a friend got his FF1 ( Head up rating) whilst out there ......through the wide availability of coaches resident on the DZ. Good food, Good accomodation, Good planes, Great people.........definatley a top notch DZ. Regarding demo rigs...call the DZ or PM TKHayes on here. TK's the GM and will be able to help you out with questions you have. Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! But I'd contact them for a definite answer. As for what to expect, everyone else summed it up pretty well. You'll have a blast, it's a great DZ....I'm not biased at all
 freeflir29 0 #12 November 18, 2005 It's so far my favorite Florida DZ. Of course there are several that I have NOT been to yet but Z Hills is so good I have a hard time going anywhere else. I'm being "forced" to visit oter DZ's on my trip next month though.
