kirrz 0 #1 November 26, 2005 I started my AFF in Picton recently and because I have to spend 3 months in Thailand, I figured I would just finish my jumps here.. I went to the DZ yesterday and it is so different! Turns out they only jump Fri-Sun and for the AFF, they do it like a camp. They fly in instructors from Singapore and run the course intensively over 3-4 days. At Picton it's a very come & jump whenever system.. So I have made the decision (& it killed me to do so) that I will just save up over the 3 months and then use the money to do all my jumps back in Picton rather than taking it over 3-4 days and not being current when I get back to Sydney anyway. And I don't have the money in bulk. It sucks though because I am still eating, sleeping and dreaming about jumping off a plane but I can only read about it for a while! Pattaya is a very nice place to jump, if you going back say hello to Danniel from Marcus. There is the ThaiSky Festival in March (Niels is one of the organizers) try to make it (you can do your AFF there too). This is one of the nicest boogies I ever been (jumping a Hercules C-130)... how I wish I could be in Thailand right now blues Marcus
 Jasmin 0 #12 November 30, 2005 Quoteok, i've heard enough....on my way back, tell scott to bring the bus over to the airport Two things: (1) Scott had a car accident...funny story though (2) If you think I'm going to let you re-earn your Tailplane nickname, you're in for a big shock Bobby!xj "I wouldn't recommend picking a fight with the earth...but then I wouldn't recommend picking a fight with a car either, and that's having tried both."
