Orlando 0 #51 February 14, 2006 Well, the weather gods did take a peak on Wednesday to say Hi. We had some rain in the afternoon. The worst part was that the tent was not placed properly on the airport, so we had a small river coming through the tent. Big disappointment for the first day. Getting flooded only slow things down a bit, when the rain stopped, people went back to jumping. DZ owners and organizers were determine to not let this become a show stopper. So they got on the PA, recruited every available body and moved the 80x40 tent, about 100 feet from the bad location to some higher ground. I still hope to get a copy of the video. It looked great. It was like ants picking up the tent and sliding it up. The better news is that we did not have to test the new test location, for the rest of the boogie, and even today Monday, we did not get a drop of rain. Orlando 0 #52 February 14, 2006 Yeap, I do agree. It was great. The weather was good, the parties were excellent. The music repertoire was fixed. The beach party on Saturday night was excellent. The food, beer, location was great. The band needed a new lead singer, but don’t think that many cared. I managed to do 24 RW jumps, including to new record attempts. Thanks to Guy, LT, and Sky for organizing. I even tried to join one of the hybrid jumps on my last jump on Sunday, but slammed my head in the skyvan door on exit and was in pain for the rest of the skydive (The day, The week???). The birdman people did some great skydives and brought back some impressive videos. From listening to Scary Perry it sounded like the tried to hurt him on every exit, but he continue to go back up and ask for more. In all, an excellent week. Had a great time and skydives. It is a pity we only do this once year, but considering how I feel, it could also be a blessing. Thanks for all the jumpers that came down and made it happen. Looking forward to jumping with you again. See you on jumprun!Saludos, Orlando Hispa #48 || www.amador.org || Xtreme Divers

Jessie07 0 #55 February 15, 2006 It was an awesome trip. The Atlanta group only jumped 1 day but it was a great time. The people were so friendly. I must say that the lady working manifest was so nice and so organized, well done. We are going again next year hopefully adding some more Atlanta folks into the mix. It was a great boogie and can't wait until next year! "It was Moses!" "Our Shenanigan leader was laid back this weekend"

Orlando 0 #57 February 15, 2006 Hey Yonatan, thanks for a copy of the video of my exit. Although a skydiver raised his arm and blocked the view, you can clearly hear the BANG! on the door. My neck still hurts a bit, but the Aleve helps mitigate the pain. Once again, thanks and see you next year.Saludos, Orlando Hispa #48 || www.amador.org || Xtreme Divers
