brierebecca 0 #1 December 20, 2005 Hello all, My fiance and I are honeymooning the week of May 20-27th in Northern California. We're going to be in Yosemite during the week, but we want to jump both weekends. What DZs are in the area? We primarily freefly, but can be talked into doing hybrids and the occasional belly jump. skybytch 273 #2 December 21, 2005 Madera is the closest dz to Yosemite; it's located just north of Fresno on highway 99. Cessna 182. Nice people, slow pace. If you want turbines, Lodi is a couple hours drive north of Madera on 99 (Otter, Beech 99) and Taft is about the same distance southwest of Madera (PAC).
