valcore 0 #3 January 22, 2006 There are a couple of dropzones in north carolina there is skydive southern comfort (which is awesome) also Raford and Carolina Sky Sports (which rocks as well) I am not sure where Concord is in relation to these dropzones is that near charlotte? eUrNiCc 0 #4 January 22, 2006 There are a handful of very nice turbine DZ's within about a 2 hr drive of Concord. Click on the "Dropzones" tab at the top of the screen and you can view the details and follow links to each DZ in the state.Egad, A BASE life defiles a bad age. jloirsdaan 0 #5 January 23, 2006 Skydive Carolina in Chester, SC is the closest to Concord and Charlotte. I live in Charlotte and it takes about 30 minutes or so to get there. I-77 South to Chester....you can get the directions off of www.skydivecarolina.com They usually have a Otter....but lately its been a King Air. Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft. Keithmaj 0 #15 February 2, 2006 Hey Newguy! I really suggest Carolina Sky Sports. This may be a 1.5-2 hour drive from Concord, but it is by far the best facilities and best jump aircraft in the Carolinas. Hope to see you there Keith "Jump to Live!" jloirsdaan 0 #16 February 2, 2006 I wanted to try and shoot up there the other day.....but according to mapquest, its a 3.5 hr drive from Charlotte. Still not a bad drive to make for the planes though (CASA)! Jordan Go Fast, Dock Soft.
