FlyingHusky1 0 #1 February 27, 2006 I am going a road trip next week for spring break and hope to get a few jumps in throughout the week. As of now we are going from CT to SC and porbably staying in Myrtle Beach area and was wondering if anyone knew of any good dz's close to there. Also if anyone knows any good dz's on the way from CT to SC that are close to I-95 to stop at that would be awesome as well. Blue Skies, Clint
Conquest150 0 #2 February 27, 2006 skydive coastal carolinas is in the area. its about an hour or so north of myrtle. you would need to call and see whats on the schedule and check and see if any upjumpers are gonna be coming out. when are you planning on being in myrtle. i will prob be out there either thursday afternoon or friday mornign. also on the way down 95 there is skydive air comforts(i think thats the new name of it now) but its on exit like 32 or 33 in north carolina and its a cool place to jump. darkwing 5 #3 February 28, 2006 Raeford is close to I-95, and Southern Comfort Skydiving is essentially on I-95. I like Raeford a lot, but I have never been to Southern Comfort. I have friends who speak highly of it though. -- Jeff My Skydiving History
airdvr 210 #4 March 1, 2006 Spent some time in MB a couple of years back. Problem I had was winds. The day was nice, but the DZ was so close to the ocean the winds were above minimums. Went to Raeford instead. It's about 2 hours. Please don't dent the planet. Destinations by Roxanne
Keithmaj 0 #5 March 2, 2006 Stop by Carolina Sky Sports in Loiusburg, NC. It's only about 45-60 minutes off I-95. They have the best facilities and aircraft in the carolinas. The people are great too. We usually jump Casa's on weekends... If not the Casa we jump a Pac750. There's Always loads going up when weather is good (wed-sun)! Hope to see you in the sky! www.carolinaskysports.comKeith "Jump to Live!"
