Everyone....make sure you have water gear BEFORE you come down! The DZ has a FEW left and has ordered some more, but they may not arrive before the boogie! I would recommend Sterns (more comfortable). Hey John...how many days?B|

Becky has 7 floatation devices available. If someone wants to reserve one, they can call her at 251-986-5618. Otherwise, I'm sure there will be a few loaners available.

No aqua buoys will be allowed. Only US Coast Guard approved floatation devices.

Chaoskitty just pointed out to me that you can't travel with a CO2 cartridge on a commercial airplane. So any of you flying into the boogie should look into finding a different way to get your water gear there...

Just wanted to pass along the heads up. :)

I learned that flying to the Keys Boogie 2 years ago. Even had a spare cartridge. :(

The good news is that you can still use the water gear, you just have to factor in manually inflating it. I figured if I got into a situation where I was going to land in the water, I'd probably be breathing so heavy, it'd inflate manually in no time. :P

Since I'm flying, I'm bringing the gear w/o cartridge and have ordered another cartridge to be sent to someone who's driving (thanks chaoskitty!). (Of course, now that I've already placed the order, I see Spence has extras....oh well).

Your full of hot air anyway!:P

True, I'm not worried about me, between my hot air and built in weight belt, I'll float fine. :P The water gear is just to attach to your gear so it doesn't sink. :)

Yo,
I traveled the last 3 years on US SCARE with my 2 flotation units, CO2 in and armed, I checked them with my suitcase and no worries. I would carry on your skydiving rig though, just in case, and if you can find it, that cypress card comes in handy at security, for those who use them.
Hope that helps,
Blair

PS- We are sending several CASES of cartridges down with someone in a vehicle, Payaso or Johnny, but we'd never waste NO2 on flotation devices B|
:D:D:D:D:D..literally :D

Yo!

Anyone interested in flying wingsuits out over the Gulf, I'll have my V1. I also have a GTI and a couple of Prodigies. My partner in crime 704 has a GTI. RckyMtnHigh has a new Prodigy, and one helluva new avatar ;) Bolas has a GTI, Jeff and another friend at ECSC have GTI's....
So that's 6 birds so far, and I'd be happy to lend/rent (for bushwackers) any of my suits to qualified pilots. PM me if you want, because I'd prefer to not bring everything, only what will be used.
ANY OTHER WS PILOTS OUT THERE BRINGING THERE WINGS?????? Lets flock out over the water, then drag race back to the bama, open low and swoop downwind over the surf...mmmmmkkk???B|
C-you all soon, and BOLAS, I CAN'T WAIT TO PARTY WITH YOU!!! YOU LEGEND!!!! :)

There will be one exception, and she knows who she is. :o

Jeiber is a wingsuit flyer as well, however I don't think he has a suit since last I remember he was about to buy my friends' wingsuit...he needs a bigun! Also, I'm open to letting someone who's gone thru the FJC try out my Prodigy (L).

Blair...promise no donkey dancing until after I'm asleep:ph34r: puleeez.
I talked to Becky today and she said I should get ready for men in thongs and donkey dancin'...nooooooooooooo! Say it ain't so!:o;)

If someone will remind me I'll bring some.

So does this mean you're definitely coming?? Guess you have to, since your name is on the list and all! :P

I'm actually driving too, guess it depends on the airport if they let you take the CO2 on the plane...

Please share those sillies with me;). I really wanted to bring out the sumo wrestling suits to the boogie but it's $400/for the weekend for a set of two inflatable suits, wrestling mat, pump and shipping to/from.
