jnhag2 0 #3 April 5, 2006 I went last year...despite the winds, I had one of the best times at an accuracy meet. Lew and other good people were there. I wish I could be there again, but I have other obligations. Wish all the best

Stephen 0 #8 April 14, 2006 Just an update....... I just returned from a visit to MD Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Childrens Hospital, where I had the privilidge of greeting some very sick children while in the company of some legends of the skydiving industry. Namely, Lew Sandborn (D-1), Larry Bagley, Mary Lou McGlaughlin, Tom Zukouskie (Top Pop), Bill Wenger, John and Rose Goetsch and a few others. We greeted the children with easter eggs, bears and assorted toys. Their expressions were priceless. Many thanks to Conrad Jones and all his efforts. All this joy and the meet doesn't even start until Saturday. See you all there. Dont miss this small piece of history......Well, off to Ellington Field to pick up the Air Force Cadets. rgoetsch 0 #9 April 17, 2006 Well- we only got 2 rounds finished becasue of winds but it was a great time anyway. We got to hang out at a really nice DZ, meet some cool people, get a VIP tour of NASA, cheer up some kids that are having a rough time and listen to some great stories. If you get the chance to spend some time with Lou Sanborn- I highly recommend it. We got to hear some great stories and find out how things really got started in the sport. From what I hear- our judging staff has volunteered to be ther next year (The meet is going to be at Spaceland from now on)- which sounds great to me. Hopefully we'll get to judge a full meet. Thanks to Steve and Conrad for putting on a good show! See ya there next year!"If you're not on the centerline -you're out of control"
