Kuper 0 #1 April 21, 2006 i've read all the English info on Kolomna site (which is not much), but still there are some things i'd like to know: 1. what are the facilities in the bankhouse? is it built and finished already? 2. what opportunities of FF coaching can one have there, and aspecially on the end of May 2006 (same dates as the 80way camp)? 3. what is the weather like at the end of May? 4. when you've visited there - was there anything that you were happy that you had with you (or that you hadn't but you wish you had?) - i mean anything important to bring with you...? any info will help... thanx! Wilma 0 #3 April 25, 2006 1. when we went last june the facilities in the bunk house were basic but cleaned everyday. There were however building some new buildings which looked pretty cool for bunk houses 2. when we were there there were a few FF coaches who spoke english if i remember rightly it was $70 for a coached jump 3. in june it was about 25 degrees and rained every so often but the pilots and DZ were pretty good at judging the gaps 4. everything you need is there apart from mozzie spray. Its a very very good DZ where all they want to do is jump and we were getting 12 jumps a day and packing ourselves if you have two rigs you could double that easy just dont watch the packers !!! Stiletto5 0 #6 April 30, 2006 I've been at Kolomna in Oktober 2005 for one day and I will go there again with my 4way team from May 19 to May 18th. So I hope to see you there. We already booked one of the new bunkhouses. They are very nice and new. Unfortunately there are no sanitary rooms or in the bunkhouses yet. For this you have to walk about 50 meters. But the common ones were very clean and well equipped. There are always very experienced people on site. If you want to make sure to have one reserved for you, you should write them an e-mail. The answer usually takes a few days. The wheather end of May is usually ok. It should be somewhere above 20°C at least. There was a rigger on site, as well as enough packing people, a small shop and rental gear. What I liked most was that they just get another machine started if there is enough demand. So you shouldn't wait long. It is easy to make at least 8 jumps per day. If you have more questions yu may write an e-mail to me: irma.limo@t-online.de Markus
