samanthaweaver 0 #1 April 26, 2006 Skydive Temple in Salado, TX has re-opened and we are having our Grand Re-Opening Boogie May 26 thru 29. Friday night, we are putting together a crawfish boil, cooked by a true Louisiana Cajun. Saturday night, we will have wings catered from Hooters and BBQ catered from Cowboys. The band Shit Howdy will be playing during the night. Sunday night, we are playing B-I-N-G-O with lots of good skydiving prizes including free jumps. We will be holding a 4-way scrambles competition on Saturday with cash prizes. There will be a 2-way rotation CRW competition as well with cash prizes on Sunday. We will have load organizers for all disciplines throughout the weekend. Jumps will be $18 and tandems will be $150 for that weekend only. There is a Boogie Fee of $35 which includes a goodie bag, event t-shirt, food and beer on Saturday and Sunday. I didn't jump, but others did, and everyone had a great time just hanging out in the shade , etc. Made new friends and mingled with old ones. The vibes at Skydive Temple are really nice. Funny how each dz has its own unique ambience. Thanks for a nice day and all the freebies in the goodies bag! Looking forward to getting back there sometime.
