ScottGray 0 #13 May 25, 2006 We have set the dates for the GA POPS Bigway Record Attempt. It will be June 24 & 25 at ASC using their Otter. Please mark it on your calendar and save the dates. Current record is a 12-way, we will be targeting a 16-way. All interested are encouraged to make it out to ASC between now and the record attempt to practice with other record participants. The Load Organizer will be Doug Glover and the Event Organizer is Scott "Boomer" Gray (scottgray@comcast.net). All those interested please contact me via email to be added to the distribution list. Feel free to forward this to possible other interested parties. At present we have 8 confirmed people. NOTE: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE A CURRENT POPS MEMBER. The registration form is on the POPS website. BRIEFLY, record requirements are: Jumped as planned with all grips and slots. Held a minimum of 3 seconds. Photograph of the completed formation. Complete the record application form. No additional jumpers may exit with the record group. Photographers should be informed that the photo must be taken from above the formation. The photo must show all slots and grips completed as dirt dived. Horizontal photos do not show all grips simultaneously and may not be accepted to verify the record formation. Only one record may be claimed per jump.
