nbblood 0 #5 May 24, 2006 Ogden in Utah has the Wasatch Mountains on one side and the Great Salt Lake on the other. Pretty awesome there. Skydive Moab, I can imagine is great too. Skydive The Rockies near the Royal Gorge is real cool too. I've been to a couple of the DZs on that list that I thought were great DZs, but as far as scenic, I didn't think they were all that.Blues, Nathan If you wait 'til the last minute, it'll only take a minute. Bolas 5 #8 May 24, 2006 Marathon Key, Florida. Emerald Coast Beach Jumps over the Gulf. I totally agree with Titusville, I would have ranked it higher than Sebastian though.Stupidity if left untreated is self-correcting If ya can't be good, look good, if that fails, make 'em laugh. kelpdiver 2 #9 May 24, 2006 I've only been to one, and usually to its neighbor that is more welcoming to upjumpers. The change in scenic value isn't that great, at least not 6 months of the year when the hills are green. I'm sure there are many more scenic, but small, DZs out there. Amazon 7 #10 May 25, 2006 You need to come check out the NEW DZ in Mount Vernon WA... we are in the Skagit River Delta....flying out over the San Juan Islands.. and Camano Island and we are just south of Mt Baker. To the East of the Dropzone is the North Cascades National Park. You can see the Olympic Mountains over to the SW of the DZ... You gotta see it to believe it. ( Plus the Porter has HUGE windows for gawking the scenery and only takes 12 minutes to get to 14K) http://nwskydivers.com Check out some of the pictures in the Gallery

rasmack 0 #19 May 25, 2006 I'd say that some of the DZs in France or Switzerland deserve mentioning. Gruyeres is a fantastic setting. And Annemasse is spectaculary located. Having Mt. Blanc on one side and Lake Geneva on the other in free fall is just beautiful.HF #682, Team Dirty Sanchez #227 “I simply hate, detest, loathe, despise, and abhor redundancy.” - Not quite Oscar Wilde...
