Elisha 1 #76 June 21, 2006 QuoteI couldn't find it on the American Boogie site. I think you just have to register when you get there. They do have one day registration for $15. The registration for the whole weekend is $40. It says: Full registration for the boogie is $40 for 4 days. Includes 2 dinners, beer and goodie bag. Current USPA membership and in date reserve required. New One Day Registration Pricing: DAILY REGISTRATION, $15 This is to accommodate those of you that can only make it out for one day of fun.It gives you access to our complete fleet of jump planes and a jet ride if you want. * Price does not include Beer, Dinner, or T-shirt. I think the answer is no...TallGuy probably knows the other stuff from attending past years.

Cornholio 0 #78 June 23, 2006 QuoteFYI - dogs are not allowed on any of the grass (including the tent camping areas - so if you're camping in a tent, don't bring your dogs!), by the bonfire or in the tiki bar. No exceptions - not even if they are the worlds best dogs (like mine ). Not only that, but bringing your dogs outside with little shade (cars don't count) for the next 3 days with temps over 100 degrees probably isn't the best idea. Heat stroke in dogs is especially common when the temps get over 100. I'd leave em at home under a nice big tree or better yet (like my dogs) - with the girlfriend inside an air-conditioned house. :) BTW, all you boogie-goers... I'll be driving up tonite (in the dark) and setting up camp, as there's no way in hell I'm arriving tomorrow at 10AM to do it. It was alrad 90 degrees at 10AM this morning in San Jose. Dayum! Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump
monkycndo 0 #79 June 23, 2006 Heading up tomorrow. Yep, setting up camp when it is that warm is going to suck. I am bringing some extra shade canopies to be put where needed. Maybe at the loading area since we will have extra planes and the landing area for spectators.50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
NWFlyer 2 #80 June 26, 2006 Photos here. Great to see some familiar faces and meet some new folks this weekend."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
Feeblemind 1 #82 June 27, 2006 Wow, Mother nature was not kind to all of us this year and neither was the CASA (hot as hell and then the CASA blew a hydraulic pump on sunday). Oh well there is always next year for better temperatures and a the casa should be healed by then. Anyway, thanks to Guano, Groovalicious, Kaleidoscope and Roger for all the cool organizing. Even though it was hot as hell we all hung in and made some awesome skydives!! Thanks Ray for spending the cash to bring out the CASA as well as providing the food and beer. It was great to see old friends and meet new ones! Next Nor-Cal Boggie is at Byron (sure to be off the hook like last year). Hope to see you all before then! skybytch 273 #84 June 28, 2006 I put this on NCS but thought I'd throw it up here as well, just in case. I was looking through the lost and found box at Davis this morning and found a helmet with some (expensive) stuff in it. Checked with manifest and apparently no one has called about it. Since manifest won't hold lost stuff, I'm hanging on to it so it doesn't end up walking off the dz. If you lost/forgot/left laying around your helmet and other helmet-related (expensive) stuff, let me know what kind of helmet it is and what (expensive) stuff was inside the helmet and I'll arrange to get it back to ya.
