Ok kids just a few day away from a long weekend on the beach and just a few quick notes.
Hotel Room up for grabs.I have a room at the Destin Inn & Suites that we will not need.If you need a room contact me and I will help you get this room transferred into your name.
Beach Cook Out.Let me know if y'all would like to do this again.It was a lot fun last time but it is a bit of a pain in the ass as well, we are cooking out on the beach.I don't mind bringing the stuff down I just want to know that everyone is not going to haul ass and go eat in town.
If You Need It Bring It.As with most RoamingDZ events this is not an operating DZ so if you think you might need something bring it.I would highly recommend putting some thought into some shade tents for this event.If you bring a tent,bring something to tie it down with.I recommend those screw in dog stakes.We have some tents in the works but not enough for everyone.I saw some of those pop ups 10x10 tents at Wal-Mart the other day for $88.Hell of a deal and if you don't want to haul it around you can always donate it to the RoamingDZ
We Are Guests.Please remember we are guests in this town and we are doing this on a public beach.So far we or any of the DZs that have done this have never had a problem with the city or local officials in Destin.Please lets keep it this way.The sun bathers have more right to be there than us.Let be polite to them.
This looks like it may turn into one of the larger skydiving events to be held in Destin so please be careful.There is no need to land in the parking lot.Land out and talk to the WUFFOs.Sell a tandem.Maybe we can work out some compensation for bringing a tandem to the tent.
Please help keep the trash picked up.We will have trash bags and there is a dumpster near by.

Jen and I just bought a 10' x 10' quick up from Dick's Sporting Goods for $59.00 and the solid wall / shade accessory (closes in one full side and part of the 2 adjoining sides) for $29.00. The stakes I have are the straight metal pin style. I will pick up the screw type if they are that much better.
