Guano Full Tilt Saturday, July 22nd

Recommended Posts

When: Saturday July 22nd

Where: SkyDance SkyDiving, Davis, CA

Guano Freefly is heading to the World Championship August 6th-10th in Gera Germany to represent the
United States for Freefly.

Last October Guano placed 3rd at the FAI World Cup in one of the closest competitions in freefly history. Now we have our rematch.

Guano Freefly is fresh off a Silver medal finish at the 2005 U.S. Nationals, Bronze at 2005 FAI World Cup, Eloyand we have your support to thank for it. Thank you to all who have watched us train hard all weekend when we would have liked to jump with you. Thank you to everyone who donated money, packjobs, and lunch to keep us training hard. And thank you for all of the encouragement and motivation throughout our past seven years.

We have come a long way but our sights are set higher. We are the sole team to represent the U.S. for freefly at the World Championship.. This is our chance to show the best teams in the world what we are made of and a chance to represent NorCal in a big way.

Saturday, July 22nd, we are planning a day of giving back by jumping HARD all day with everyone who can attend. We are talking some full tilt freeflying from load one to sunset with organized dives in typical Guano fashion. After the last load the big screen debut of the newest Guano freefly video along with a barbecue and bonfire. We will have a prize raffle and will have new team shirts and hooded sweatshirts for sale as a way to raise money for our team to get to the World Championship.

Fundraiser aside, we hope you can attend so we can thank you in person for your years of support and get in the air with you. There is no registration fee. One-on-one coaching will also be free except for our slot. The dinner will be $20 and raffell tickets $10 that include prizes for free Guano coaching, prizes from Performance Designs, Rigging Innovations, Flite Suit, SkyDance, Action Air Parachutes, Preyor Pins and Larsen & Brusgaard.

I'd go, but I think I have had all the Peter I can stand for a season. ;)

No seriously dude, that was a good time. I hope you guys make it up here every season at least. I'll have to keep my goggles on one of those coiled leashes though. You guys going to make it to Jim's camp?

Woo Woo, I got the shift off from work so I can be there. My son has 2 soccer games (football to you non-Americans ;)) so I doubt I can get there before 6:00. I hope to be able to make a jump or two. Even if I don't get to jump I am looking forward to the BBQ (Pete makes a MEAN Tri-Tip) and the :D truck!!

I think cooked the Tri-tip that day (Sat. a week or two after Easter) when John brought like 20 lbs for his B-day. That was cooked pretty much to perfection. Yummmm....enjoy everyone.

Pete, Chris & Scott ..... good luck at the WC and give t to the French for us ;)

I will not be making out to SkyDance for the event, stuck in Tampa and heading to Rantoul and SummerFest .....

Will for sure follow your scores etc, and look fwd to bumping into you guys again.

Better never to have met you in my dream than to wake and reach for hands that are not there.
