CSpenceFLY 1 #1 July 13, 2006 Starting this because I didn't have all the info in the original post.Skymama you can smack me later RoamingDz.com is roaming to the North Georgia mountains the weekend of August 4-6 for some camping and white water rafting. We will be staying at Bald Mountain Campground www.baldmountainpark.com You will need to make reservations NOW.PLEASE READ THE PARK RULES BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS!I am in slot 135 if you want to be close by. There will be alot of cooking out, beer drinking and good old fashion fun.I'm not sure about the alcohol supply up there(well I know about some of it) so you might want to plan ahead.After all beer has food value but food has no beer value. We will be using a river company called Adventurous Fast Rivers www.white-water.com We used them last time and they were nice people to deal with.As I recall it was $18-$20 a person and they offer either rafts or kayaks.I'm going to try to plan to river for Sat. about noon so if there are people driving up on Sat. they don't have to leave so early.Make sure you know where you are going and allow time to get there,I'm sure the cell service up there sucks at best and the whole group is not going to wait for YOU.We will be looking for other things to do while we are up there also.There is a possibility we will have a Cessna up there for part of one day.I will let you know as soon as I can.We might do another river depending on what everyone wants and if we have the plane.
