Jumping Raeford, NC

Recommended Posts

Im planning a 2 or 3 week trip to Jump Raeford this coming November. I'm heading there to get me AFF certification and was looking for some feedback from anyone who might have jumped there anytime but more specifically during the winter months.

Anyone know how the weather usually is around that time? Would I be better of going for 2 or 3 weeks to do all of my training? I know none of us can read the weather or jumping conditions just hoping someone had some insight as to what it tends to be like down there around that time of year.

Thanks for the invite.

November isn't bad but it gets a little windy sometimes. You should contact Tony at the school (Raeford Parachute Center) and he'll give you the proper skinny on everything. Chuck and I just left Raeford but it's an incredibe place to get your student instruction: friendly, knowledgeable instructors that have been skydiving for many, many years.B|
