MissyOutTheBox 0 #32 September 11, 2006 Hey I saw the post about you guys' dz and I have to ask, are you guys taking students?? I am going to be staying in Bellingham for about a month and a half and the only dz I could find close was Skydive Snohomish. Yall sound alot closer to where I might be.. But again I am just a measly student trying to find a s/l dz in that area to possibly drop by and do a few jumps at till I can get back home and finish up my s/l. Have always wanted to be a social butterfly but now I have the wind beneath my feet.
NWFlyer 2 #33 September 11, 2006 Depends on where you are in your student program. If you are cleared for self-supervision, you *may* be able to jump at the DZ, but if you are still on S/L you'll need to go to one of the other DZs in the area that have full student programs (Snohomish would be closest, though you might also consider one of the DZs in British Columbia, or Kapowsin Air Sports down in Shelton). If you're cleared for self-supervision your best bet would be to contact the DZ and double-check that they're okay with it. Also depends on when you'll be there ... the DZ will likely close down for the winter sometime in the next couple of months (current plan is to be open through October at least)."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please.
