It has it's rules, fast airplanes (Otter and 2 - Beech 99's) and a huge landng area. But Lodi has one thing no other DZ in the U.S. has that I am aware of: $15 lift tickets to 13K!! and blocks of 50 that will get the price to $13 to 13K Fire Safety Tip: Don't fry bacon while naked
 jumpwally 0 #11 August 31, 2006 I have heard about those prices,,any idea how they do it and others can't...?smile, be nice, enjoy life FB # - 1083
 Feeblemind 1 #12 August 31, 2006 QuoteI have heard about those prices,,any idea how they do it and others can't...? There is much speculation on how Bill Dause keeps his prices so low, but it's something I feel uncomfortable asking him ( I think it would be rather rude to do so). All I know is Bill is not just a DZO, he is a skydiver as well! I often see him doing fun jumps with customers, the Red Dogs, and he also does tandems as well. I do remember a conversation one day at Lodi on the creeper pad and someone said "Bill is a skydiver, he loves the sport and he wants one location where it is still affordable" I would say he has successfully done that. Part of that same pact with the devil that gives Lodi clear winter days when Stockton and Sacramento (slightly south and north, repectively) are both fogged in. Like most places, tandems provide the bulk of the profit, even at $100. Yeah, because in Lodi it just happens to be industrial haze or whatever...
