ksjumper 0 #28 September 25, 2006 Posted - 25 Sep 2006 : 12:01:25 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey, I just wanted to shout out to everyone who attended the Boogie. You all are the ones that made it sucessful and thank you for coming to our little corner of Kansas, despite a bleak weather forecast for Saturday. I felt a very good vibe at the event and a strong sense of community! A special thanks goes out to Art Sherry from the Skydive Store, Isaiah from PD along with Scott Roberts of Team Fasttrax, Jay and Jamie from Sunpath, and Mark from Relative Workshop. Thank you guys for supporting this event, I know there were probably higher profile boogies with turbine A/C you guys could have opted for so that really makes us feel special. You guys Rock!! I think all the dropzones were represented very well with upjumpers. We'll try to get some stats out later but I think we put up over 65 to 70 loads(thank the pilots too!) over the 3 day weekend and had 17 KSUPC Alumni on the DZ at one time or another. So once again, on the behalf of AC/DZ, Skydive Kansas, and KSUPC, thank you for attending the 2nd Annual All Kansas Cessna Boogie at Wamego, Kansas. Blue Skies, Jesse M. ksjumper 0 #30 September 26, 2006 Quote I also have heard that the legend will not be able to attend. Will you be moving the boogie tyo another weekend for his sake? Joe The legend did make it out on Sunday. Most of the ladies would not leave until he graced them with his pleasure, oh I mean presence. JM
klingeme 1 #31 September 26, 2006 I want to thank the DZOs for inviting us out to Kansas to experience this boogie. I had a great time and had people demoing my gear all day. We got off a couple of intentional cutaways. I am very glad that we got the opportunity to "spread the love" to 3 small dropzones in Kansas at one time. Thanks for the hospitality. B.B. 0 #32 September 29, 2006 Jesse and all the KSUPC you are the best!!!!!! that was the best weekend ever!!, being an "old timer" and seeing the purity of skydiving so alive and strong at Wamego after all these years was priceless. You guys should be really proud. I know the alumni that was there this year will be back for next year.
