CSpenceFLY 1 #1 September 7, 2006 I am sorry to announce the the Mountain Boogie is cancelled.I recieved wordfrom the airport last week that a runway resurfacing project that was scheduled for the month of September has been pushed back by two weeks. That puts the airport closing from September 15th till October 14th.As you can see this does not fit into our schedule at all.I have spent this last week looking for a suitable location to move the event with no luck.A combination of airport managers that didn't want us,those that needed to have meetings with every official in town first and the problem of finding an airport that could provide us with Jet-A fuel has left me with no other option.I am sorry to have to make this announcment. .
