I recently found that they apparently are no longer operating, and i was curious what happened. >Why are they closed? >Will they re-open? Andrewwhyte 1 #2 October 7, 2006 They had a fatal crash there a couple of years ago. Since then their insurance rates became a major obsticle. Combining that with the fact that they were a cessna DZ competing in a market with two turbine DZs and I think it just wasn't making any money any more. I am sorry to ask such a morbid question but I new some of the people there quite well at one point and I have been meaning to drop a line but I have lost all of the personal numbers and the DZ number no longer works. I jumped there in the '90's (I was out of country for some time and have recently returned) and am having a heck of a time contacting the great people I used to jump with...DB, Norm, Barb, John, Jerry, Tom, Buzz, David, Cecelia, Andrew, Mike, Rich, Tracey, Kevin, Murry...where is everyone?
