jumping in melbourne

hey guys,
i'm heading off to melbourne in a month or so and just wondering what the jumping is like out there?
i've looked the dzs on the apf site, am i right in thinking apart from nagambie it's pretty much just tandem dzs?

Thats pretty much what it was like a year ago, I assume it is the same. Nagambie was a really fun dropzone, made lots of friends and super cool jumps there.

Hey,

at nags we jump the PAC 750 XL. Were just coming out of winter now so the DZ should be getting busier.

Nagambie is pretty much the only DZ in Victoria atm that has a turbine but there should be a caravan coming shortly as well. There is a calender of events for nags athttp://www.skydivenagambie.com/sport_skydivers/events.php or try http://www.relworkers.org/.

Yeah. If you wanna hang out with a bunch of tossers driving 4 wheel drives who are more concerned about their hair and how shiny their cars are then go to sydney.

They are also more likely to be bombed.

During summer its plenty warm in Melb.

I'll be visiting both in the early 3 weeks of November, coming in for Tropfest. Looking forward to meeting some of you, still trying to decide where to jump in NSW and Melbourne as well.

Yep. The overgrown mouse is correct - December is nice weather time, even in Melbourne
