EdC 0 #1 February 19, 2003 Has any one seen the "Flying your body" training dvd advertised in Skydiving Magazine? As a newbie, I was wondering if it is worth watching? Ed Big Ed
AggieDave 6 #2 February 19, 2003 You'd probably spend your money better on some actual coaching. Like some Skydive U. coaching or some coaching from a good RW or FF guy/girl.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." EdC 0 #3 February 20, 2003 Thanks for the reply, now I just have to wait for the foot of snow here in Ohio to melt and I can get back out to the dz. Thanks. Ed Big Ed
SkySlut 0 #4 February 20, 2003 You can pick up a Skydive U video. Basic Body Flight. Its pretty good. It has visual representations of the physics on what the wind does in relation to different body positions. Then they have Jack Jefferies jumping and showing all different types of flying. I havent seen the other one, but I have seen the BBF tape. Its quite good.
EdC 0 #5 February 20, 2003 I just got baisc body flight two weeks ago and it is very good. I also have body pilot in command, decent information, cheesy production though. Big Ed
stuart 0 #6 February 20, 2003 Get hold of a copy of the "Skydivers Handbook" if you can - well worth a read and full of top-notch information.(You can buy it via the Safety section of Dropzone.com)
