peregrinerose 0 #1 November 15, 2006 Just thought I would let you all know that the Pelt Heads will be happily in attendance at the CSS Thanksgiving Boogie! You will know us as soon as you see our furry helmets. A couple of us are founding members of the esteemed organization and will happily make induction jumps with anyone else who is interested in making their cheezy protecs into a work of art. Membership numbers will be issued, so that new members can attend the Pelt Head Boogie and new national record attempt next summer! See www.ccmaa.com/peltheads.html for information and ideas! peregrinerose 0 #3 November 15, 2006 Then you'll just have to save up and head to Cburg for the first annual Pelt Head Boogie next summer. We don't have a date yet, but hoping to have a Casa in attendance Do or do not, there is no try -Yoda

jheadley 0 #5 November 17, 2006 I'll be at CSS and found an old half shell pro-tec in my basement, I need to find some material for it. Any suggestions on where to get material or how to construct it?
peregrinerose 0 #6 November 17, 2006 You can get furry fabric at any fabric store, Walmart, etc. Or you can look at some of the fun 'decorator' type pillows that are furry and pull one apart to use as a pelt. One guy took the head of a children's halloween costume and made a Tigger Pelt out of it, complete with ears and snout. Just sand the protec, cut the fabric, smear craft glue on the helmet, adhere fabric, let sit over night, and you have a pelt Mine is bright hot pink with orange highlights, I'll be easy to find. CSpenceFLY 1 #7 November 17, 2006 You forgot glue and snip. You will have to snip out sections to make the fabric fit the contour of the helmet.Well you don't have to but it will look like shit if you don't.
