Freeflysmiley 2 #1 November 24, 2006 Hi, was thinking about going to Florida in Late March, which may be a bit dodgy with the weather perhaps. Eloy looks good, but can anyone tell me how isolated it is? i.E are there places to drink nearby, Hoooters etc, orare u pretty much stuck at the dz? matthewcline 0 #2 November 25, 2006 The DZ is awesome. They have enough there not to need to go out to party. But if you must it is a little drive to the "finer" establishments. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! LouDiamond 1 #3 November 25, 2006 All of the basic needs can be had on the DZ or you can go to Casa Grande for the usual type stuff( Wal-mart, Cold Stone, food, sushi, etc) which is about 5 mins away from the DZ in a car."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
Tink1717 2 #4 November 25, 2006 Don't worry, you can get hammered on the DZ. They have a very fine bar there.Skydivers don't knock on Death's door. They ring the bell and runaway... It really pisses him off. -The World Famous Tink. (I never heard of you either!!) AA #2069 ASA#33 POPS#8808 Swooo 1717
