jumping in bahamas?

I'm wonderin' if there is a dropzone in bahamas? Because I didn't think if i could skydive there after we made plan for cruise to bahamas in summer 2007

I'm not sure there is one. I remember there used to be one listed in the dropzones list on this site. maybe you can find a pilot that would let you do it for the price of a scenic flight. Probably be exspensive and the landing area may be less than desirable.

I was there a few years ago. I remember there being one listed somewhere before I went, but I didn't see anything there. May have been on the wrong island (Grand Bahamas).

If I were you, I would just focus on the cruise and sightseeing, and not worry about whether there's a DZ or some pilot you don't know willing to take you up in a plane you don't know is safe.

I used to take my rig everywhere I went if there was a DZ nearby, even if skydiving was not the main focus of the trip. Now it's just a hassle. But Billy, I understand where you're coming from, because I was the same way when I had that many jumps.

That's not main reason for me to go skydiving on vacation. It just pop my mind to skydive there after many weeks, made plans for vacation on cruise
