There is the AN-72 Jet boogie in Cochstedt Germany 3-8july. It has a ramp as big as a C-130 and gets to altitude a lot quicker. More information can be found here

Both Tony DeBruin's Skyvans are based in Belgium although they make their way around Europe a fare bit during the summer. At least one of them will be at both Langar's boogies this summer.

At least one of them is at Schaffen. But i think it is only used for military jumps. No civilians. So the whole weekend there is one sometimes two skyvans sitting there without moving.[:/]

any c-130 jumps around the east coast of the USA??

I would love to jump that plane

Jeff

There may have been a C-130 at Quincy in the past, but don't expect to see one anywhere in the US available for skydiving. True, the military has a shitload of them, but also a "no-civilian-use" rule, so you can only jump them in other countries, like at the Hercules boogie or in Thailand...

The closest to the C-130 is the C-123 that has been at Eloy in the past. The C-123 has been used in the movies a bunch of times, including "Operation Dumbo Drop". However, I don't know where it is now or when the last time it was used for skydiving.
