browncow 0 #1 January 25, 2007 does anybody know if the dropzone in paihia or kerikeri caters to sport jumpers or is it just tandems. cheers.
rhys 0 #2 January 26, 2007 It is mainly (99%) tandems, I used to work there for a while, until the owner decided to keep 2 months of pay and not pay it to me. I still have to take him to court over it! It is a beautiful place and they have a 185 there i think. getting on loads really depends on who is running the place now. NZSYDIVE has a high staff turnover especially in the management because the owner is such a greedy asshole. they also have dropzones in Auckland, Mt. Cook, Glenorchy and Te Anau. Having said all that the owner 'is' an greedy asshole but the company have always been receptive to sport skydiving unlike other tandem operations in new zealand. take your rig and you'll get on a load or two. rhys 0 #4 January 29, 2007 Auckland is only a couple of hours away, with a couple of options for sport skydiving. and plenty of regulars. Nice spot! all the best in the bay of islands!
