f94sbu 0 #1 April 2, 2007 Hi! I am looking for a DZ near SF that is open 7 days a week and that flies a turbine aircraft of some sort. I am going the be in the area the next 2 weeks doing AFF instructors training with my girlfriend and we need to find a suitable dropzone. Any help is appreciated! Blue skies! /Stefan
NWFlyer 2 #2 April 2, 2007 I believe if you want to jump 7 days a week that will pretty much make the Parachute Center in Lodi your only option. http://www.dropzone.com/dropzone/Detailed/199.shtml I've been there and also to Byron, Hollister, and Davis and they're all great DZs. Lodi's the only one that'll be open every day."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. Cashmanimal 0 #3 April 2, 2007 Hollister is open 7 days a week... it's just a matter of people to fill the planes. If you get 4 people, they will run the 206, and they will fly all day just for you. It's all fun and until someone loses an eye... then it's just a game to find the eye

Yeah, but he specifically mentioned a turbine - might be a lot tougher to get the King Air flying on the weekdays."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. pfloyd 0 #5 April 2, 2007 Lodi sounds like the best choice for him, but Davis is also a great place, but not usually open monday/tuesday. My drinking team has a skydiving problem
Andrewwhyte 1 #6 April 2, 2007 Sounds like you need airlift and nothing else; no coaching, no people to jump with, etc. Lodi is the cheapest and the most likely to have an aircraft ready when you are.
f94sbu 0 #7 April 2, 2007 Thanks a lot for your comments. Yes, we basically need a lift, but having some other skydiver around is always nice. We might need someone who wants to shoot some video though. Blue skies! /Stefan
Elisha 1 #8 April 3, 2007 Are you the same Stefan who showed up at Byron on Sunday? If so, thanks for the nice 8-way.
