WatchYourStep 0 #26 August 27, 2007 Listen Borat we're not all high rollers like you I don't care how much the tickets are, I just want to know how much cash to bring and how to budget it. I travel cheap and take as little money with me as needed. If I bring extra I just spend it. I hate using ATMs and paying the fee to get money out. So a 3-5 change in the price could change the amount of money I need to bring if I plan to do 20 jumps. Plus it's just nice to know what jump ticket prices are. I don't think the request is unrealistic or anything like that. Mad man love Marting, mad man love. See you in Fort Dodge goof face (I know goof face is kind of lame, but I'm trying to bring back old school things from 3rd grade. Radical is the next term I'm going to try to bring back.) skydived19006 4 #38 August 28, 2007 Quote DQ- Team Just 1 More P.s. We will have the after party every night down by the taxi way just follow the music. On the "after party", where and when do you guys sleep? I want to set our camp up right next to your tents, so we can run really loud music (of our choice) next to your tent while you're attempting to sleep! Personally I don't have any problem sleeping, something about being worn out, combined with copious consumption from the milk truck. But, there are a few from Kansas who are paying for a room this year because some idiot is "sharing" his music which from a distance is even more annoying, until sunrise. I have heard that you guys don't stay at the airport, but go into town to sleep in a motel room during the day. That seem to have some irony, you don't want to camp out because those damn skydivers are keeping you awake with their airplanes, PA calls, etc? Be an American for god's sake and tone it down a bit! Your rights end at the tip of my nose, or in this case ears. Some of us go up/down to party, but also want to get 3 or 4 hours of sleep so we can play during the day as well. Have fun, but try not to be quite as large an ass hole with YOUR fun! Boogie!!! MartinExperience is what you get when you thought you were going to get something else. dqpacker 7 #39 August 28, 2007 I don't know couch had bedtime rules. Thanks for informing me. If you want to be a pussy go to a different boogie. You call me unAmerican and an asshole because we like to have one week of fun during the year. Just for your post we are going to turn up the fucking music so old bitches like you can complain. I always thought you where cool martin, I have talk to you a few times over the past years. You never seemed to care what happens at couch. You might be able to control what happens at your dz but not couch. Your post seems like you just needed to bitch about something. We have never had any complains about this until now. The couch folks have actually called us to see if we are bringing the music again. Oh and we camp out at couch, hotels are for pussies. The planes and pa calls don't bother us. Peace out old bitches DQ Ps the earplugs they give out are for you ears not your pussy.
skydived19006 4 #40 August 28, 2007 I can sleep through a thunder storm with 50 knot winds in a tent, so the noise doesn't keep my up. I do have friends who aren't quite as good at sleeping as you and I and are spending some their money on rental cars, and motel rooms for the first time ever because they have issue with the noise. My guess is that you haven't heard any complaints because it is "the no rules boogie". Just because people haven't complained to your face doesn't mean that people aren't annoyed by you. You reference me controlling what goes on at my DZ, and you are right. Ironically we’re on the same wavelength, at my place people tend to get pissed at what I do as DZO but never complain to me directly about it, rather "wining" amongst themselves. Apparently we share the opinion that if they can't say it to my face, then fuck em. So, fuck you too! It's not keeping me up. It is no rules so if what you do pisses people off fuck em! If what I do pisses you off then fuck you. Kind of like the free love days of the 60s (which I'm not quite old enough to remember). That is how the free love thing worked isn’t it? I'll buy you a beer. Look me up. Martin That was primarily satirical, hopefully not viewed as an attack (breaking forum rules). I did say that I'd buy the beer after all.Experience is what you get when you thought you were going to get something else. AC DZ
dqpacker 7 #41 August 28, 2007 Don't worry man it's all good. I'll buy you a beer too. Sorry if we piss off people to the point of them getting a hotel room. We always try to set up as far out as we can from the main camping area. Anyone who sets up near us we warn right away that we play late. We try to tell them before they start setting up. As for the noise you could also bitch about the 4wheelers ripping up and down the lanes at night. That more annoying to me than a good beat. Also last year we put walls around the tent to dampen the noise. One last thing If you don't enter the best dress contest we will turn down the music. But I don't know how anyones going to beat Jimmy.

I quit competing after I won a couple of years ago. Figured I'd just as well quit while on top! It's more of a popularity contest anyway with the guys. Doesn't work that way with the girls. rehmwa 2 #44 August 28, 2007 Camper's packed. Ready to ride. In town, heading to the gate in the morning. As far as the "after party" - we know these guys. It's simple. Don't like the noise, camp farther away. That's what we do. It works great - one campground plays hard, and we can go from one to the other depending on the mood. The 4 wheelers are a MUCH bigger distraction and noise for the sake of noise. With the convention out, I wonder if we'll have enough lift cap... ...
