Mark24688m 0 #1 September 18, 2007 How is the skydiving in vancouver BC? It seems to always be raining there. Do you get much time to jump? What months are the best for skydiving here?
Amazon 7 #2 September 18, 2007 You do what you can do... Hop and pops are good year round...the clouds really are higher than you think most of the time. June thru October there is a LOT of good full altitude jump weather. There is even some crystal clear weather in winter.. its chilly but there is nothing quite as beautiful as the view from 14,000 feet in the winter when ALL of the mountains are covered with many feet of snow.... and the valleys are all Emerald Green the Admiralty Inlet is a gorgeous blue. Our DZ is just 50 miles south of the border at Mt Vernon Washington... We have a very fast Porter and full altitude is $24 US ( a tad cheaper than the jump tickies at the Vancouver area DZ's) http://nwskydivers.com We have an accuracy mini money meet coming up on Oct 13... lots of Canucks will be coming down for that.
